My name's Cat Brown.
I'm a NZ photographer who specialises in both fine-art photography and also capturing beautiful and spontaneous moments during weddings, portraits, sports and all kinds of events in a photo-journalistic style.
I am lucky to have a growing list of discerning clients worldwide, many becoming wonderful friends, who have honoured me greatly by letting me into their lives to capture their inner most spirit on camera.
As an artist and a photographer I have found my passion - and as anyone will tell you I always have a lot of laughs and fun along the way.
How wonderful to make a living by creating beautiful images.

I have a main site where you can see many of my photographs and make bookings for me to photograph for you, but this blog is something a little different. It's an organic process, where I put up my favourite photos - some are from professional shoots, many are just things that have caught my eye.
Like many photographers I practically ALWAYS have my camera with me!
I'm always learning myself, but this site is also about sharing what I have learnt with anyone who's interested in improving their photography. It's going to take a while for this site to grow, but perhaps you'll come back occasionally - I'll always be pleased to see you - and if you think of any special things we need just drop me a line.
